    We Tripantu.

    It is celebrated in the winter solstice on June 23 or 24 (depending on the moon). It is a familiar celebration, in which they inform the adults, the children and the whole diversity of alive beings. It is a party of gratefulness for the life that is renewed. Since it is celebrated? In the night, the families Mapuche re-join about a burner, or in ramadas of foye, cinnamon-tree and kila (anumka). There They prepare food, where afterwards the grandparents were counting legends of his forbears. They all eat multrun, kako, mujoki and drink munday (alcoholic maize drink of wheat; traditional drink for his ceremonial use). The ceremony is realized to the dawn, the children get up first, it removes them to washing to the river and they there are placed new or clean very well washed clothes. It is received to the Sun in the door of the house (ruka), surrounded with all the alive beings.
