It is my understanding that the engineering studies regarding Nissequogue River State

Park have been completed and are in your possession.

I have been advised that the completed report is scheduled t*be released to my office
sometime next week. Previously, you and your staff had informed me that I would be providecl
with a copy of the final report "as soon as it was available" and "when it was completed."

Your assistance with following through on that commitment in the immediate future is
greatly appreciated -- preferably by sending my office a copy of the final report today by e-mail
or by overnight mail. As you know, it would be helpful to have sufficient time to review the
report so as to provide informed comments on its contents when contacted by the media.
