BETA BETA BETA MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Regular Membership
Undergraduate majors in the biological sciences that have completed at least one
term of the second year of a four-year curriculum or its equivalent. During this
time you should have completed at least three term courses in biological
sciences, of which one is not an introductory course. (This means that one of
the three courses must be at the 2000 level.) Also, you must have a G.P.A. of
3.25 in your BIOLOGY COURSES.

Associate Membership
Biology undergraduates who are not eligible for regular membership but have an
interest in the life sciences and a G.P.A. of 2.00 in biology courses. Associate members
are upgraded to regular membership when the meet the above stated requirements for
regular membership. The upgrade fee is only $10.00 (one time fee).

Graduate Membership
Graduate students currently enrolled in an institution where there is an active
chapter. Faculty members are also eligible for membership as a graduate member.
