Spanish Language Installation on ECQ & ECD Systems: Before installation the languages, please check what all

languages are installed. Use Transaction SMLT:

Now before starting the language installation we need to modify/add the parameter zcsa/installed_languages with the respective language code. Here in this case we are adding language code S for Spanish. Here below are the screenshots for the same: RZ10 Screen

If the parameter is not listed then we have to manually add the parameter, to do this please follow the below steps:

The Parameter here is D for German E for English P for Portuguese S for Spanish

Save this profile and activate the same.

Once this is done, restart the SAP System. Next we need to execute the report for NLS Configuration, Please follow the below steps to do so: Execute Report RSCPINST.

Add the language Spanish:

Once this is done, Simulate and activate:

Now the system is ready to install the new languages. Given below are the steps to do so:

In the menu options select Classify.

In the General tab select the language as Spanish and the supplementation language as English.

Click on Save on this screen.

Once we save this the language will be added.

Click on Continue to proceed, and the below screen will appear. Here in this screen select the language Spanish and click on Import Packa

Specify the path where the language CD is located and select the instance and click on execute.

The following screen will appear:

Click on Yes and then the import is scheduled. Click on continue to proceed.

The following screen will appear and indicates the language is in importing phase.

Click on Action Log to view the current progress of the language.

With this screen the language import is successfully completed.
