    Neel gagan ke chanda mama, kyon karte ho tum hungama. Door hamesha rahane waali, oonchi penge bharane waale. paas humaare aa jaao tum, humse aankh churaao na tum. Roj-roj main tumhe bulaata, yaad teri lekar so jaata. Baat humari kabhi na maani, karate rahe apani manmaani. Manav tum tak pahunch gaya hai, raaz tumhara samajh gaya hai. Khoj liya hai tum par paani, batlaati hai meri naani. Main bhi ek din aaunga, tumse haath milaunga.

Aisi paawan wela sabko, behad bhaayi hai. Diwali aayi hai. Rangein, pute bhawano mein deepak lagate kitane pyare, jaise chamkein jagar-magar kar aasmaan ke taare.

    Nanhe-nanhe deep jala Nanda harshaayi hai. Yeh tyohar suhaana lagata, kheelein, gatte laata. Taran-tarah ki humein mithaayi mummy se dilwaata. Pujan Ganpati-Luxmi ji ka jag sukhdaayi hai, Diwali aayi hai.
