Last Stand

In the dark future of the 41st Millennium, last stands are a common occurrence, armies cut off from reinforcements and with evacuation impossible vow to sell their lives as highly as possible, taking down as many enemies as possible. Sometimes warriors will hold out for long enough to receive reinforcements and survive, most are not so well-fated. This scenario is for two players. Before deployment, both must decide who the attacker is and who the defender is. Scenario Rules: The attacker has 2x the number of points as the defender and may also recycle infantry units from his troops selection (once one of the specified units is destroyed an identical unit is placed in reserve and will arrive from the attackers chosen table edge. All defending units are counted as Stubborn and may regroup even if below half strength (other criteria still apply). The game lasts the normal 5-7 turns. To win the defender must destroy more enemy units than he starts the game with, any other result is an attacker victory. Setup: The Terrain setup should resemble a last bastion surrounded by broken defence lines. The Defender must set up within 12 of the centre of the board and may not place any units in reserve. The attacker must the set up anywhere more than 12 from enemy models. The attacker gets first turn unless the defender can seize the initiative
