Letter of Invitation
Dear Sir/Madam,

e would like to cordially invite you to participate in The R.V. Debating Tournament 2011, organized by the R.V. College of Engineering Debating Society (RVCE DebSoc) from 17th to 21st September 2011. The Tournament will take place at the Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering, Bangalore, India. R.V. College of Engineering is amongst Indias foremost technical educational institutions, and the Debating Society of RVCE is proud to host this tournament in keeping with the institutions aim of pursuing excellence. The competition is largely based on the format followed by the Asian Parliamentary Debating Competition. This is a great opportunity to forward the spirit of debating in a cooperative environment. In its fifth installment, RVDT has strived to create a platform of intense and invigorating competition. The last installment was hugely successful at delivering quintessential debates and generating wide spread interest in parliamentary debating. The format requires 3 speakers per team and all teams are required to bring one adjudicator per team (N1 Rule). All queries regarding the tournament can be e-mailed to info.rvdt@gmail.com.
