Design Rationale

A design rationale explains the reason why you’ve made the design decisions
you’ve made in creating your outcome.
While the structure of the rationale is up to you, a few good things you should
include are:

1. A good place to begin your rationale is to explain and describe what the project
is about.
2. Explain what the issue is and why it’s important.
3. Who your audience is.
4. Explain what the concept of your design is.
5. Explain how the different design elements you’ve used in your design relate to
your concept.

Please remember that your rationale is most likely being read by someone who
has never seen you before and who’s never heard any of the explanations you’ve
given in class. Explain using simple sentences and easy to understand words.
Don’t try to make the explanations more complicated than it needs to be.
Before you start writing, it’s a good idea to list the different ideas. Afterwards, you
can put it in proper sentences. This ensures that you don’t forget your ideas while
you are busy with the writing aspect.

Maximum number of words is 500.
