PE Warm-up/Stretching Kliping

Head and Neck

Sit or stand with arms hanging loosely at sides Turn head to one side, then the other Do it two times each side Repeat to about 16 times

1. Sit or stand with arms hanging loosely at sides 2. Roll over your head, first clockwise then anti-clockwise, and for each direction do it up to eight counts.

Hands and Shoulder

1. Place your right hand on your left side shoulder. 2. With left hand, pull right elbow across chest toward left shoulder, and hold for about 8 counts. 3. Repeat on the other side, this time placing your left hand on your right side shoulder and so on.

Stand or sit with arms overhead Hold elbow with hand of opposite arm Pull elbow behind head gently until mild stretch is felt, hold up to eight counts. Repeat on other side

Body (Lower Part)

1. Interlace fingers and turn palms out 2. Extend arms in front at shoulder height 3. Hold up to eight counts.

Stand with hands on hips Gently twist torso at waist until you feel a stretch Hold up to eight counts Repeat on other side

Knee

1. Raise your foot to the back side of your body. 2. Stay in that position for about 8 counts 3. Repeat on the other side.

(no picture) 1. Raise your foot horizontally across your thigh. 2. Keep that position for about 8 counts 3. Repeat on the other foot.

Feet

1. Raise your foot. 2. Rotate your foot clockwise, then anticlockwise, each rotation for 8 counts. 3. Repeat on the other foot

1. Lift your foot up, then put it down. Repeat this process 8 times.
