ASAE & The Center’s Marketing & Membership Conference
(MMC) is a mid-size education event specific to marketing and membership association professionals. The two-day event of peer-created content consistently sells-out each year, and the level of the marketing materials is always high.
For 2007, the theme of collaboration was chosen to reflect
the increase of idea-sharing that has occurred over the past few years. Many of our members utilize the marketing listserv and idea swaps to share best practices and experiences, and the 2007 conference was the highlight event.
Using a blend of brand art and illustration, the MMC design
premiered the use of white space as a design element. Puzzle pieces were used to illustrate the components of collaboration, and by incorporating our brand art a bold and exciting campaign design was created.
The following are examples of the marketing postcard,
internal spread of the brochure, and full page ad. Response to the design and marketing materials resulted in a 27% increase in attendance from 2006.
