failure of pupils in mastering 3M in primary school

What is 3M?
In 1983, KBSR (kurikulum bersepadu sekolah rendah) had been introduced to Malaysia Education system as an effort to back to basic education by focusing on 3M The 3M was applied in kindergarten, preschool and level 1 primary school

 In 2011, KSSR (kurikulum standard sekolah rendah) had been introduced and one more M was added and become 4M which are:

Mengira (counting)

Menulis (writing)

Membaca (reading)

Menaakul (logical thinking)

The Issue
Based on research that had been published by Berita Harian in 2010. 60% of student in level 1 primary school (standard 1-standard 3) fail in mastering 3M According to Prof Emeritus Tan Sri Dr Khoo Kay Kim this situation happen because of our teacher lack of focus in students weakness, teach students for the purpose of the exam and straight away from a textbook

 According to Prof Madya Dr. Mohd Ali Hassan (presiden of majlis PIBG nasional), the education modul need to be upgrade and a new method should be introduced so that the learning process in pre-school and primary scholl will be easy adapted by students Presiden of Kesatuan Perkhidmatan Perguruan Kebangsaan Hashim Adnan and Dean of Faculty of Education UM Prof Dr Saedah Siraj these students needs an unique, fun, interactive and different approach of P&P (teaching and learning)

 Although an interactive tv show that aim to improve kids 3M already exist such as Along and Sesame Street but these show was not being highlighted enough to the kids and they tend to watch tv show which consist of entertainment only eg: Spongebob, Ben 10, Upin-Ipin.

An educational furniture for P&P (teaching and learning) to help kids mastering 4M (reading, writing, counting & logical thinking) in kindergarten, pre-school and level 1 primary school.
