Business Communication Semester 1 Assignment Guidelines Date of submission: 2nd and 3rd September, 2011.

The Inner Courtyard- Ed. Lakshmi Holmstrom (review any 5 stories) 5. 101 Short Stories- Anton Chekov (review any 5 stories) PLEASE NOTE 1. Students should select any ONE of the five books listed below and read and review it according to the guidelines given in the index. These books are available in the college library for reference; they can also be ordered from flipkart.com at nominal rates. 2. The project has to be done in groups of 4, with all the 4 students belonging to the same tutorial batch but it has to be written and submitted individually by all the four students in that group. (This is to inculcate team work and interpersonal communication which is an important part of the syllabus). 3. 4. The project should be strictly handwritten and in students own language. It is to be submitted in the Business Communication journal which would be provided by the college. 5. The word limit for the Book Review is between 2500-3000 words. 6. The students may refer to the internet but matter that is directly lifted from the internet may be disqualified.
