Achieving Peace to Our Muslim Brothers in Mindanao

Philippines is an archipelago which is compose of three main islands; the Luzon, Vizayas, and Mindanao. We all know that Mindanao is the place where our Muslim brothers and sisters reside. Aside from it, it is also the hometown of the pride of our country, boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao and our fresh Miss Universe third runner up, Shamcey Supsup.

We all know that Mindanao is facing a lot of issues and controversies pertaining to its relationship within the country. It is known for having a lots of terrorists and what we called Abu Saiaff . This matter became the reason why people from different places didnt spend time going and visiting this place even it also have many attractive tourist spots.

Our Muslim brothers want to exclude Mindanao to Philippines because they thought that they are an outcast on the eyes of our government. They thought that our government didnt pay any attention regarding to their needs. New issue is very popular today. Its about our new money. People in Mindanao took an appeal in the Central Bank of the Philippines because there is no representation of their place in our new currency.

Our government today, tried their best to make a good bond between our Muslin brothers. They give them the freedom to express themselves on the different issue our country facing today. Having an open communication between them is the best way to achieve peace not only in Mindanao bit also in our whole country.

Being one country, we must consider the needs of everyone and be part of everything. Our government and high officials must give a fair and equal treatment to everyone, no matter he or she is rich or poor, a Catholic or a Muslims.
