    K- POP CONTEST IN VIETNAM

    Korea Tourism Organization - Hanoi office associates with the Korean Cultural Center in Hanoi launch a K-pop singing contest in Vietnam, sponsored by Sam sung organization and Yonhap news agency, with the objective of introducing the Korean Culture to Vietnam. The contest aims to promote Korean Music to Vietnamese citizens, especially among the young. The contest is organizing in Vietnam from August 1st, 2011 to October 1st, 2011. From hundreds of applicants who register for this event, after 2 rounds of selection, only 5 excellent singers or bands can come to the final holding from 6pm to 22pm on October 1st ,2011 at Au Co art center. The singer or band (less than 5 members) who wins the first prize will have a chance to come to Korea joining the international K-pop contest holding on 26th November 2011. The Second Prize is a Samsung Smart TV LED Series 7 46, the Third Prize is a Samsung Galaxy SII Mobile Phone, and the Fourth Prize is 2 Samsung Galaxy Ace Mobile Phones.
