Assam Fish...With A Twist!

Ingredients Nutrient Analysis (per serving)


750 gm salmon fillet (cut in 1.5cm pieces)
450 ml low-fat milk
150ml tamarind or assam juice
Energy 453 kcal
3 tbsp cooking oil

Pounded Ingredients
8 dry chillies Saturated Fat 4g
4 stalks lemon grass (serai) Cholesterol 92 mg
2.5 cm piece tumeric
6 cloves garlic Dietary Fibre 2g
1.5cm piece ginger
Sodium 490 mg

Method

1. Heat oil and brown fish pieces on both sides. Remove.


2. Fry pounded ingredients till fragrant.
3. Add milk and fish. Bring to boil.
4. Add tamarind juice and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
5. Dish up and serve hot.
