The simplest polygon which can exist as a pentagon 5 regular star. A star pentagon is known as a pentagram or pentacle. hexagon heptagon octagon 6 7 8 "nonagon" is commonly used but mixes enneagon or nonagon 9 Latin [novem = 9] with Greek. The relationship between cube and cuboid A cuboid is a solid (3-dimensional) object with six faces that are rectangular and which meet at right angles. A cube is a special case of a cuboid, where all sides have the same length. The relationship is the same in terms of no of sides, vertex, and edges. But, cuboids have one parallel side which is shorter to the other one parallel side. The relationship between cylinder and prism Pyramids are not prisms nor are prisms pyramids. A pyramid has one polygonal base. Each side of that polygon is connected to a triangle, whose third vertices meet at a point above the base of the pyramid. A prism has two congruent polygonal bases that are parallel to one another. They are joined together by rectangles.
