Year 6 Camp 2012

Dear Parents / Caregivers of Year 5 students The senior school camp for the 2012 Year 6 students will be held at Bannockburn in Central Otago from Monday 27 February until Friday 2 March 2012. We will be leaving the school at 9am on the Monday morning and returning at approx 3.30pm on the Friday afternoon. We have been able to hold the price at $250 for the past few years. However due to rising costs associated with camp, the cost has risen to $275. We still believe this is great value when you factor in the activities involved, 4 nights accommodation, food and transport. You are welcome to start paying this into the school office in installments should you wish to. Please make arrangements regarding this with Mrs Devine in the office. We will require 5 parent helpers who will be assigned a group for the week. This includes completing set cleaning tasks on a rostered basis and supervising children during activities. As in previous years Im sure the number of people wanting to come to camp will far outstrip the number of places available, if this is the case we will draw names out of a hat. Unfortunately there is a cost for parent helpers which is $185 this year. Please return the completed slip below by Friday October 28th if you wish to help with next years Senior Camp. Parent helpers will be notified the first week of November.
