NOTE: A materials fee of $5.00 will be collected by the instructor at the first class.

All supplies available at KOZO, Guiry’s, Jerry's Artorama. Meiningers,

or any good art supply store, not an office supply store

• Pens: KOH-I-NOOR rapidographs sizes 4x0, 3x0, 00, 0 (these are definitely recommended!)
OR purchase Rapidograph Fine Artist set (#3165 SP7A) which includes the
small pen sizes from 2 down to 6x0. These are much less expensive.

quill pens: Speedball Artist Pen No. 20 set OR set Speedball Artist Sketching set

• KOH-I-NOOR #3080 Universal or #3085 Ultradraw Black India ink

(This ink comes with the sets. No need to buy another bottle)

• 1 full sheet (22x28") bristol board: Stathmore, 400 series, 2-ply, plate surface (Guiries, Jerry's,
or Meiningers) cut into 4 pieces (11x14")

• sketch pad: 9" x 12" or larger (for sketching in the field and class exercises)

• tracing paper (either roll or pad - be sure it is at least 12-18” width)

• pencils: HB, H, 2H

• kneaded eraser

• repositionable tape

• Viva paper towels

• bottle or cup for water

• transfer paper (DO NOT PURCHASE - we make this in class)

OPTIONAL

• hand lens or magnifying glass, reducing lens

• chinese white watercolor or gouache or PRO-White opaque watercolor
• small watercolor brush
