Re: Apology For The Delayed Delivery Of Your Order

Dear Mr. Bruecker,

It is with great regret to inform you that your order of two hundred thousand 32 inch Flat
Panel TVs will have to be delayed for three weeks from today’s date. Thus, we will be
unable to meet our promised delivery date. We sincerely apologize for the delay and any
inconvenience caused.

The cause of the delay was due to problems with our customs papers. Although we
managed to clear this problem, this was not in time to get your goods onto the cargo ship,
as it had already left. The next cargo ship will arrive three days from now, and your order
would be transported to Germany in 20 days time.

Due to the fact that we have been unable to fulfill our promised delivery time, we offer
you a 15% discount on your invoice as compensation for the troubles caused. If there is
anything else that we could do for you, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Once more, we express our deepest apologies, and we will do all our best to ensure that
your order reaches you as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience.

On behalf of the company, I once again express thanks for your order as well as great
regret for the delay. We look forward to be of additional service to you, and we hope that
