has three sides
and three angles.
TYPES OF
TRIANGLE
Isosceles Triangle
Equilateral Triangle
Scalene
Triangle
All sides are
unequal.
AB≠BC≠AC
Two
sides are
equal.
AB=AC
All sides are
equal .
AB=BC=CA
SUM OF THREE ANGLES OF
TRIANGLE IS EQUAL TO
180º

aº+bº+cº=180º
EXTERIOR ANGLE IS EQUAL TO SUM OF
INTERIOR OPPOSITE ANGLE

aº+bº=dº
The sum of any two sides of a
Triangle is more than the third side.

AB+AC> BC
Methods of Constructing
Triangle

Step 1:
Draw a line AB of any length.
Step 2:
Now Draw an arc from A opposite to
line AB using compass(the length
should be same as AB).
Step 3 :
 Draw another arc from point B also(using
compass again).
Step 4 :
 Draw line from A to intersection of these
arcs.
Step 5 :
 Draw another line from B to that
intersection point .
Step 6:
