WHAT IS
TRIANGLE ???
Triangle is a closed figure having 3
sides & 3 angles. A triangle is one of the
basic shapes of geometry with three
vertices and three line segments.
Triangle means :
Tri + Angle
means a figure consisting of 3 angles
hence 3 sides
TYPES OF TRIANGLE
A Right Triangle has one angle of 90 degree

PROPERTIES
Right Triangle is one of the basic shapes
of geometry.
This triangle is mostly used in
trigonometric ratios.
One angle of right triangle is 90°.
The sum of other acute angles is 90°.
The sum of all the angles is 180 °.
It is a two-dimensional figure with three
vertices and three sides.
PYTHAGOREAN
THEOREM
Pythagorean
theorem holds
true for right
triangle.
i.e.
c2 = a2 + b2
