Fulfilled prophecies of a Savior to be sent
from God and was the Son of God.
Performed miracles and taught others
about God’s laws. Formed the Disciples,
the greatest team ever assembled.
Left father’s business to follow Jesus.
Struggled with pride and hogging the glory.
Nicknamed one of the “Sons of Thunder”
by Jesus. One of the three disciples closest
to Jesus.
When first heard of Jesus, he thought
nothing good could come from
Nazareth. Jesus called him a man of
complete integrity. One of the first
to call Jesus the Son of God.
A disciple of John the Baptist and one
of the first to follow Jesus. Learned to
be a fisher of men and was always
seen bringing people to meet Jesus.
He and his brother James were nicknamed the
“Sons of Thunder” by Jesus. One of the three
disciples closest to Jesus. Called ‘the disciple
whom Jesus loved’. Wrote the Gospel of John
and three other letters in the Bible.
Left his business to follow Jesus.
Invited Jesus to a party at his home.
Wrote the Gospel of Matthew which
tells the story of Jesus’ life.
Introduced to Jesus by his brother
Andrew. Did not think of himself worthy
to be a disciple. Wrote two letters that
became part of our Bible: 1st and
2nd Peter.
Introduced Nathanael to Jesus. Tested
by Jesus when Jesus was about to
perform a miracle to feed 5000 peo-
ple. Got Andrew to help him introduce
more people to Jesus.
Many of Jesus’ disciples were fishermen and
often traveled by boat around the Sea of
Galilee. Jesus taught a huge crowd of people
from Peter’s boat. The disciples miraculously
caught fish by following Jesus’ instructions.
Jesus calmed a storm to save the boat from
sinking and Jesus walked to the boat on the
water in the middle of a storm.
