    The Overall Celebration
    I celebrate Christmas the same way every
    year. I go to see my grandparents in
    Germany, since my Mum is German, with
    my close family, usually for about five
    days. In Germany, Christmas is very
    similar to here in the United Kingdom, but
    a little differently.

    The German Traditions
    Instead of celebrating Christmas on the
    day and opening presents first thing in the
    morning, the people of Germany celebrate
    everything on Christmas Eve, a day before
    the actual day. Also, people in Germany
    don’t open their presents until the evening
    of Christmas Eve.
