It also provides treasury services and capital markets infrastructure. The company primarily operates in India. HDFC Bank is headquartered in Mumbai, India and employs about 51,888 people. The company recorded revenues of INR124,693.9 million (approximately $2,632.3 million) during the financial year (FY) ended March 2010, an increase of 15% over FY2009. The operating profit of the company was INR65,638.8 million (approximately $1,385.6 million) during FY2010, an increase of 26.3% over FY2009. The net profit was INR30,036.5 million (approximately $634.1 million) in FY2010, an increase of 33.6% over FY2009.
