By: Ethan Higa House Bill# 0000 A Bill Entitled To Be An Act To prohibit the use of poisonous chemicals to kill

weeds. Purpose: To protect animal and human life as well as local waters from runoff. BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII Section 1. For the purpose of this act, Poisonous Chemicals shall mean any inorganic substances. Section 2. Use of Poisonous Chemicals is prohibited no matter the size of the land or weed. Section 3. Use of Organic Chemicals is allowed as long as substance doesnt harm fish, Animals, or Humans. Section 4. Any person who violates this law shall be subject to a fine according to the size of land: $1000 $2000 $3000 $5000 $10,000 Section 5. 1000-2000 sq ft 2000-5000 sq ft 5000-10,000 sq ft 10,000-20,000 sq ft 20,000 1 acre

This act shall come into action 30 days after approval by the Governor or upon its otherwise becoming a law.
