Initiatives of Change (IofC) International is a non-governmental organization working for peace, reconciliation and human security worldwide.

It stresses the importance of personal responsibility, ethical leadership and building trust across the worlds divides. IofC International represents the universality and multi-faith character of the IofC movement and facilitates its relationships with the United Nations and other international institutions and organizations through its Geneva office, for which it is seeking from 1st January 2012 a Charg de Mission Network coordinator (80- 100 %) with the UN and international Geneva at large

Overall responsibilities: Represent IofC at the UN and in international Geneva at large Promote Initiatives of Change, its programmes and projects and especially the activities at its international conference centre at Caux with the UN, related organisations, the NGO community and the permanent missions Identify where IofC programmes, the UN and NGOs could work together Develop contacts and cooperation both in the field and on the leadership level Discern the special contribution of IofC with the UN and related organisations Serve as window of contact in response to requests from UN and other NGOs for IofC support and services in training and other areas of shared interests.

Requirements: Knowledge and experience of the UN and international Geneva Affinity with the ideas of Initiatives of Change and ability to practise them in daily work Masters qualification in a related field Ability to work both with professionals and volunteers of varying backgrounds Good communicator Fluent in both French and English Based in or around Geneva See for more information www.iofc.org.
