Dear Rohan, Thanks for your letter. Im so glad to hear about your hiking trip to Gunung Nuang. I wish I couldve joined you, but I just didnt have time to go down to Selangor. I hope everything is going smoothly and that your leg has healed well. How are your parents, brothers and sister? I hope they are all fine. I have some exciting news for you. My brother has just returned from an expedition from Gunung Tahan. He was part of a team of photographers from several local nature magazines. According to my brother, they were severely tested, not only physically but also mentally. He called it a mind game. He said that it was an experience that money cant buy. Despite such difficulties, they made it to the summit through a lot of team work. Next year, they will be making a similar, but bigger expedition. They intend to make it an annual affair. Ever since my brother related his experience to me, I have become obsessed with the idea of scaling Gunung Tahan. I hope my brother will take me along on one of his future expeditions. I have to prove to him that I am well-prepared. One day, both you and I, should do it together. Dont forget about our trip to Pulau Tioman that we have planned for the next school holidays. I will be looking forward to that. Do tell me in advance when you will be arriving in Kuala Terengganu so that I can go and meet you at the bus station. Thats all for now.
