Please allow me to congratulate our 22nd Mayor of the City of

Manila who always upholds the Rule of Law and continuously stressed
His administration’s “order of the day” to rid the city crimes, drugs,
graft and corruption, and immorality. Although, it may be untimely, yet
I am respectfully seeking His Honor, the City Mayor’s approval of my
application for the vacant position in our Office, the Administrative
Officer V of the Office of the City Legal Officer.

For the past thirty (30) years, I have been in the service at the
City Government of Manila who luckily earned my last promotion
during the term of His Honor, the City Mayor in l992 to l998 as
Management and Audit Analyst II. I am a graduate of Master in
Management at the Technological University of the Philippines, Manila
and prior to this postgraduate study, I also finished two full four year
college courses, Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Major in Accounting
and Bachelor of Laws at the University of the East, the Alma Mater of
the City’s Chief Executive.

After three (3) decades of serving the City of Manila, I believe I

have developed the ability to handle the duties and responsibilities of
the position being applied for. My training and experience have been
of the type necessary to the competent handling of the duties it
requires. Though I am enjoying very much my work, I should like to
change because I am desirous of entering a larger, broader field, where
I could get more experience, and thus, be permanently attached to
higher position.

My sincere thanks for your kind consideration and I respectfully

appreciate any favorable action regarding this matter.
