Language aims Numbers 1 to 4 Colours: red, yellow, green, blue Materials needed Crayons in the colours red, yellow, green and blue for each pupil. Procedure 1 Distribute the worksheets and ask pupils to look at the picture of the clown. 2 Distribute the red, yellow, green and blue crayons to each pupil.

3 Ask pupils to find all the number 1s on the picture. Say 1 is yellow and make sure all pupils are colouring all these spaces yellow.Then ask them to colour all the number 2s red, the number 3s green and the number 4s blue. Alternatively, if your pupils are reading, you could write the instructions on the board. 4 Check that all pupils are following the instructions correctly..
