The tagline of our poster will make it clear that our soap opera is brand new, but at the same time, it will promote a storyline and leave our audience curious.

Main Image
The main image will take up the theme of an event or storyline change. In our case, the main image will introduce the characters of our brand new soap and promote a particular storyline to get the ball rolling.

Because our soap targets a large audience, it is important we choose to broadcast on a popular channel to enable our soap to reach as many audience members as possible, such as BBC 1, Channel 4 and ITV 1.

Soap operas traditionally broadcast on week days. Depending on our target audience, our soap will show at a certain time to make sure that it airs at a time that is convenient for our target audience members.

Our soap opera is called Mill Lane as it relates to the location it is set in. This is conventionally used in existing soaps such as Coronation Street and Emmerdale.
