EXECUTIVE SUMMARY My report contains information about various tasks undertaken during the 45 days of summer training at BY DESIGNER INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATION, 4, Udyog Kshetra, Link Road, Behind Krishna Motors, Mulund (W), Mumbai-80. The report encloses the gathering of competitive intelligence for my firm's client, renowned real estate developers, MARATHON DEVELOPERS. The report focuses mainly upon the collection of data of what the competition in real estate industry has to offer in the South Mumbai region as the client is planning to come up with a housing project in Byculla, Mumbai.

Various techniques of Research Methodology and concepts of marketing were used in order to gather the competitive intelligence. This project helped me in gaining a lot of knowledge of how the real estate market functions. It clearly signifies that in order to survive in this competitive market, the competition has to be thoroughly understood in order to formulate a sound marketing strategy.
