How to Prepare for a Career in Banking

After the economic liberalization which India has implemented since 1991 the banking scene in India has changed in many ways. New generation private sector banks have opened their branches with technology driven products and services. Public sector banks have also improved their service standards and product offerings. With the growth in banking business banks have been recruiting substantial number of personnel every year in areas like retail banking, marketing, customer service and other divisions. This has opened up lot of opportunities for students passing out of the colleges. In this context Ahmedabad Management Association has designed a one day programme to help the students to get a basic appreciation of how to prepare for a career in banking. Contents of the Programme: 1. Structure of Entrance Test in banking 2. Guidance regarding sources and materials for study 3. Model exercises 4. Preparation for interview Who can join the programme: (a) Students who have completed Graduation. (b) Students who are in the final year of Graduation also can join Faculty : Prof. K. Rajasekaran Former AGM : Global Trust Bank Ltd. and Ex-Trainer in State Bank of Travancore (Subisidiary of SBI) Fee : Rs.200/- per participant.
