NYSDOT TO HOST PUBLIC INFO MEETING FOR ROUTE 180 OVER BLACK RIVER BRIDGE PROJECT IN VILLAGE OF DEXTER, JEFFERSON COUNTY Meeting to be held Thursday, November 3, Dexter Fire Hall The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) will host a public meeting to present information and answer questions about a proposed project to rehabilitate or replace the State Route 180 Bridge over the Black River in the Village of Dexter, Jefferson County. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 3 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Dexter Fire Hall, 100 Lock Street, Dexter, NY 13634. Work on the project will begin near the intersection of Route 180 and Route 12F, cross the Black River and end near the intersection of Route 180 and Lakeview Drive in the Village of Dexter. The project will include the rehabilitation or replacement of the existing structure and highway approaches as well as improve storm water drainage and pedestrian facilities. The $6 million project is expected to begin construction in the summer of 2014 and be completed in 2016. Please advise this office if a sign language interpreter, assistive listening system or any other accommodations will be required to facilitate your participation.
