    A Symposium For Mental Health Professionals


    The Therapists for Single Payer Task Force invites psychotherapists, interns, trainees, and students from all disciplines to this education and advocacy symposium. In the morning, learn about single payer health care and its legislative status in California and nationally. Air your professional concerns and questions. Learn why single payer is a workable, necessary alternative to the current insurance-industry-based system that is so onerous for therapists and our clients. After lunch on your own, attend workshops to initiate advocacy actions aimed at CA legislation and our professional organizations.
