HEINRICH HOFFMAN: Heinrich Hoffman was born in Germany at the turn of the 19th century and he died in Germany

in 1894. Hoffman had his degree in Psychiatry and he became famous for writing short stories all over the world: he was one of the best scary stories writer of his time. Hoffman wrote and published many books, but certainly his masterpiece was Der Struwwelpeter. His stories were published in many languages, in fact, they are still being published currently and his work is continuously being translated to many languages in too many different editions. The books were very interesting and the stories usually have a tragic end. Currently, some people think that Hoffmans scary stories are not good for children but I think that his scary stories can be as good for children as for children.
