Kerry Heinecke CIS 317-DL (Online) Chicago Press Database Design Project Phase III Description: This database

includes all of the tables required for implementation of the Chicago Press Database Design Project. Tables have been populated with a minimum of 5 rows of data with some specific data entered to verify that the queries work properly. The main switchboard should open automatically when the database opens. There are buttons for all forms, 5 reports, and the 10 required data queries. Please note the following information about this database: Assumptions: 1. I changed the primary key in the Area of Expertise table to be a combination key: AEID, ReviewerID. This was done in order to add more than one reviewer to an area of expertise for testing query #4. Per original specs, Reviewers can have more than one area of expertise; however, the Phase II key defines the PK as AEID. 2. For the Project table, I assumed that the Hyperlink data type is the correct one and that this would be implemented in a network environment with employee access to the indicated share. 3. For Query #6, I defined a production book as follows: Book.PublicationDate is Null AND Bid.DateSelected is Not Null. Additional Information on Database: 1. Database password: cis317 2. Forms: 1) All forms open in Edit Mode except Areas of Expertise which opens in Add Mode. 2) Book form includes a subform. 3. Reports: 1) Author Query Report accepts a parameter. To open the form, you need to enter an Author ID. Choose from the following: 369877 346887 332691 351134 344213 2) Vendors Working on Projects Report includes a grouping level.
4.
