    Youre invited to celebrate

    20+ years with Regent Park Focus!

    *Focus is inviting the public to several community events:


    From 6:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, October 27 at 38 Regent Street (Lower level)
    Margarita Antonio who will speak on the topic of Sharing Lives and Cultures: Community Media on Nicaraguas Caribbean Coast.

    From 6:30 to 9:00 pm on Friday, October 28 at 246 Sackville Avenue

    Focus o cially kicks o the anniversary celebration with a public party. Festivities will include refreshments, speeches, musical performances, special guests, and an awards ceremony.

    Starting at noon on Saturday, October 29 at 38 Regent Street

    Focus holds an Open House featuring guided tours of its new facilities. The tours will showcase screenings of youth videos, and radio and music recording workshops. From 3:00 to 4:30 pm, a panel of local media and community representatives will discuss The importance of alternative media in empowering marginalized communities and their young people. Following the debate, Focus will hold its Annual General Meeting for members.
