This month:
*Ms. Joy has sent a picture of her new house at the beach & we have posted it in the block area. This has prompted the children to build home structures, & we thought it would be fun for the children to bring photos of their own homes for display *We will be gathering shoe box items to send to soldiers in honor of Veterans Day. We will be collecting personal hygiene items, non-perishable candies, writing materials, puzzle books, etc. If you have any extra shoeboxes we could use those as well. *Our 2nd annual Gingerbread Tour will be Dec. 13-14. We use this activity as a service project as the children trade tickets for canned goods to donate to our local food banks. We will be collecting materials for the gingerbread village toward the end of this month. *The childrens Holiday Gift Exchange & celebration is planned for Dec. 7. We will send information after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Welcome to Lisa Allison, our new substitute teacher!!! She has visited with us a few times over the past couple of weeks & we enjoy having her.
Please remember to sign the attendance book upon arrival and departure.
