    Sub: Construction of Ground +VIII storied Residential Building at Premises No. 04-0097, Plot No. BA-2 at Newtown, Kolkata for M/S Fusion Co-operative Housing Society Ltd. Please note the following points:

    1. For everyday Concreting of Pile Caps and Columns, 6 cubes must be taken for each grade of
    concrete. 3 cubes must be tested at 7 days and 3 cubes at 28 days. These test result will show the trend of concrete strengths of different grades. After getting trends about strengths of different grade of concrete, the cubes may be avoided for small amount of concreting.

    2. Ordinary Portland cement shall be used for all superstructure works, so that shuttering of column,
    beam and slab etc can be removed as per standard rule. Pozzolona cement gains its strength slowly and it may not give required strength al 7 days and 28 days, as a result, the shuttering should not be removed as per rules applicable for OPC, in that case progress of the work shall be slow.

    3. Before casting any column above foundation, the concrete mix must be established by testing
    cubes al 7 days and 28 days. No concrete shall be cast in column without finalizing the nominal mix for different grade of concrete.

    4. Starter length of Columns shall be minimum 300 mm high and shall be well vibrated.
