    Steps to extract a file Step: 1

    Step: 2 Enter the dataset to extract: CTFT.ST.I.D.RPT0401.G0149V00

    Step: 3 Open the dataset in browse mode

    Step: 4 Press F2

    Step: 5 Give 1.6 to take trace

    Step: 6 Choose menu option Receive from host

    Step: 7 In the File name filed: Give the dataset name the trace which going to take in single quotes.

    Step: 8 1. Click Browse button 2. Create new notepad in desktop or some where else the trace you going to extract. Its better keep same dataset name so it will ask override in popup menu give Yes. 3. It will ask another popup menu give yes.

    Step: 9 In third filed select transfer type: Text

    Step: 10 1. Click Add to list 2. Select the file below 3. Click receive button on below

    Step: 11 It will show extraction Process

    Step: 12 Go the file and check file has extracted or not.
