The Doctoral Committee noted that Mr.V.V.Srinivasan has completed M.Sc. degree course in General Chemistry successfully from Thiyagarajar arts and Science College, Madurai Kamarajar University, Madurai during 2008 2010. The committee felt that it is necessary to take the following course work: Solid State Chemistry (CY 956) Concepts in Chemistry (CY912) Research Methodology and Analytical Techniques (CY 911) Concepts and Techniques in Catalysis (CY 953)

The proposed courses are relevant to the proposed Ph.D. work. Copy of the syllabus is enclosed. However, after successful completion of these courses the candidate is recommended to undertake comprehensive examination.
