ARTIST INTERPRETATIONS
In the months leading up to this event we have commisioned some top artists and designers to produce thier own interpretations of Dickens famous works. The starting point was a plain white hardback book, all slightly varying in size and upon these the artists were allowed to produce a piece fo work, using and media and processes they wish. These books will be auctioned off during the launch night event and all money raised will go to Greast Ormond Street Hopsital, something very close to Dickens heart.

Charles Dickens 200 is committed to following Dickenss educational mission by supporting learning activities around the world, from teachers conferences and family workshops to creative writing master classes and writing competitions. Tonight three professional speakers will be introducing opportunities for the forthcoming year.
