CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATIONS

CONCLUSION:
After the study and analysis of CBLs strategic management process, finally we can conclude that LU is the leading brand in the biscuits manufacturing industry and they are working very hard in order to maintain their leading position among competitors and or this they are selecting and implementing effective and appropriate set of strategies. They are also concerned about the promotion of their product through advertisement and other promotional activities which is a good sign for them. The best part of CBL is that they are also very much concerned about their employees. Due to these factors CBL is working effectively and efficiently in order to be a market leader.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
After the analysis of CPM, IFE, EFE, SWOT and SPACE matrices of CBL, we have find that CBL is doing well with his current strategies, but according to our analysis we recommend following suggestions for CBL: 1. Currently CBL is more focused towards increasing their profit margins but they should give more consideration and focus on increasing their market share in the industry as compare to their competitor (EBM). 2. CBL should also give more focus on increasing their production lines and capacity as CBL currently has less production lines as compare to EBM. 3. CBL should also consider their advertisement policy as currently they are focusing more on BTL rather than ATL. But advertisement on television is more effective than any other medium or promotional activities. So they should concentrate more on this in order to increase their sales. 4. After the analysis of the SPACE matrix of CBL we can say that since the directional vector lies in the aggressive sector therefore the recommended strategies for CBL according to our study are as follows: Intensive strategies Integration strategies Diversification Combination strategy
