BIRTHDAY CAKE

like trying to make many new desserts everyday, which enables them to explore new tastes.

one of the most intriguing desserts in the world, because they come in various shapes,
flavours, and tastes. Did you ever want to make something really easy and fun? You should

great to do for someone's birthday, an anniversary, a dessert, or just to surprise someone
with a treat. Well, here is how to make a simple birthday cake. All you'll need is a little time,
love, and a few items from the grocery store.
The ingredients and equipments needed are, a boxed cake mix (the favourite of the
birthday person), shortening, eggs, oil, milk, sugar, vanilla flavour (or another flavour of your
choice) ready to use icing sugar and birthday candles (the number will depend on the age
ofthe birthday person.) Then, the measuring utensils; measuring cup, mixing bowl, a cake
mixer if you have one, or alternatively a spatula, measuring spoons, and the baking pan. The
size of the baking pan depends on the amount of cakes you want to make, two-8x8 inch cake
pans or one-9x13 inch pan. The pans should be deep and round, so the cake can rise while
baking.
Next, pour the dry cake mix into the large mixing bowl. Then, add the prescribed
amount of water, oil, milk, sugar, vanilla flavour and eggs into the mix (this is usually written
at the back of the cake mix box). With an electric mixer or mixing spoon mix the batter until it
is smooth and free of lumps. Next, grease the large cake pan with the shortening or cooking
