LighttomoderaterainswerereceivedinsomestationsofsouthernandcentralSomalia.Riverlevelsalong theJubaRiverhaveincreasedsignificantlyfollowingheavyrainsintheJubabasinwithintheEthiopianhigh landsoverthelastweek.RiverlevelsalongtheShabellebasinhaveremainedstableforthelastfewdays.

Thenorthernpartsofthecountrymostlyremaineddrywithafewpocketsoflightrainsoverthelastweek.

Thethreedaysforecast(map1)ispointingtowardsminimalrainswithinSomaliaandintheEthiopianhigh lands. Thesevendayforecast(map2)pointstowardslighttomoderaterainswithintheJubaandShabellebasins bothintheEthiopianhighlandandwithinSomalia.Thenorthernpartsofthecountryareexpectedtoremain dryduringtheforecastperiod.
