Comparison of SOVA and BCJR decoding techniques on the basis of BER and many other factors that are affective in the digital transmission. Results will show that which technique is better among the both techniques used for digital transmission.

These techniques will be very efficient for authentic transmission of data from one place to another. By the use of technique, which is better among the both SOVA and BCJR we can reduce the BER and make our transmission of data the most efficient and authenticated.

Source generates the binary bits. Channel encoder encodes the generated bits. Interleaver removes the errors a little bit. Bit mapper will change the bits into symbols. The transmitter transmits the symbols in the channel. At receiver side de-bitmapper changes the symbols back to bits and de-interleaver removes the further errors, then the channel decoder decodes the bits.
