Yeah!! Short Week!! I hope you are looking forward to spending some quality time with your family! I know I am! Since the week is so short, we will be spending our time reading fiction and non-fiction books about Thanksgiving and completing several fun projects.

Writing:
On top of journal writing, my friends will also be integrating word work with a Thanksgiving writing piece.

Bucket Fillers
Our bucket is nearing the spill-over point! Upcoming celebration in the near future!

Math:
This week we will take advantage of reviewing math facts, time to the hour and half hours, and money. We will also have an introduction into measurement! No math test this week!

Science/Social Studies:
Artifacts, Social/Emotional/Physical Needs, Respect

Notes from the Teacher:

After Christmas we will begin shopping in our classroom store! Your child will be given real coins each day and we will count our money daily. During the week we will shop! Any items you wish to donate would be greatly appreciated! Gel pens, unopened McDonalds toys, Playdoh, books, etc.
