Volume 1 Nov 2011 Welcome to the first Lynn & Co. news. We hope to provide these updates to you throughout the year to keep you up-to-date on the latest in trends, fashion and life.

THE SALON
Lynn & Co is a full service salon in Brookfield, WI that boasts a comfortable and friendly atmosphere with celebrity clientele. The highly trained stylists and colorists offer professional hair care and styling as well as make up application. Also, the salon provides Spa Services including massage, manicures, pedicures, and more. Our team at Lynn & Co. are well-known in the industry and the greater Milwaukee area.

Lynn Rohmann Owner/Stylist/Colorist/Make Up Professional Lynn has enjoyed 33 years in the salon industry. She graduated from MATC in Cosmetology. After ten years in the business, Lynn branched out and began her career in hair and make up for television, print, and film. Her first break as a make up artist came at WISN-TV/ABC 12 doing hair and make up for all the guests on the local talk show Milwaukees Talking. Since then, Lynn has continued doing freelance make up and hair on location for local and national celebrities, business owners and more. Some of the highlights include: Summerfest, ABC Primetime Live, National Media News, Major League Baseball, CBS 58, WISN TV, Wisconsin Lottery, Mark Belling, Good Morning America, various local telethons, Harley-Davidson, Green Bay Packers, and many others. Lynn has continued her education in the industry including at the Wella Salon in Italy, and in Las Vegas, Chicago, New York, and more. She is married with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Lynn always dreamed of owning a salon, and she never thought it would happen. Well, in 1998 her dream became a reality, and she is now the proud owner of Lynn & Co. She said, I work with the best staff and have the best clients, I couldnt have done it this long without all of you! Melanie Massage Therapist Melanie is a National and State certified Massage Therapist and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Specialties: Swedish relaxation , Deep connective tissue massage Her techniques include range of motion and joint mobilization. Melanie also performs on-site chair massage for corporate and special events. Melanie received her education at Lakeside School of Massage Therapy where she worked to perfect her skills through a variety of clinical experiences. Melanies goal is to provide a therapeutic and satisfying massage to each client on an individual basis. Her hobbies include collecting miniature tea-sets, spending time with her family and making fleece blankets. Stephanie - Stylist/Colorist Steph has been a stylist for over 8 years, including the last 3 at Lynn & Co. She enjoys spending time with her baby daughter and husband. Specialties: Color, Make up application Jill Stylist/Colorist/ Manicurist Jill has worked in the salon business for over 24 years, with 7 years at Lynn & Co. Jill splits her time between styling hair and manicures and pedicures. Jill is married and has 3 daughters. Her hobbies include art, gardening, cooking, and helping with youth cheerleading and spending time with family. Specialties: Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing (face, bikini, legs), Color Lu Ann Lu Stylist/Colorist She decided to become a hairdresser the night before high school graduation. Lu started looking through the yellow pages, hoping to come up with a career path. Didnt find much in the As but in the Bs she found BEAUTY SCHOOLS and 27 years later, its proven to the be the perfect path for her. Hobbies include art, gardening, and cooking with organic products and food. Specialties: Color, Styling Haley Stylist/Colorist Haley has been a part of Lynn & Co. for over 8 years. She is a proud new mom to a baby girl. Haley keeps busy competing with her horse & spending time on her farm in Mequon. Specialties: Color, Highlights, Updos, Thick Hair Bonnie Stylist/Colorist Bonnie is the veteran at Lynn and Co she has worked in the salon business for 45 years. Her hobbies include travel, wine and her family. Bonnie has been married 45 years and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Specialties: Pedicures, Hair Styling Therese Stylist/Colorist Therese has 25 years of salon experience and enjoys pampering her clients. She begins each service with a relaxing shampoo/scalp massage. Therese enjoys working out P90x, Zumba, inline skating, and volleyball. She also loves chocolate, everyday! Specialties: Mens haircutting, Womens highlighting and texturizing services. Karen Stylist/Colorist Hairstylist for 35 years with the last 12 years at Lynn & Co.. She loves working with people and the wonderful clients that she has. Karen is also always furthering her education. She has been married for 33 years and her hobbies include an ethnic German club, where she is director of the adult group and spending time with her husband and her daughter. Specialties: Hair Pieces Laura Stylist/Colorist Laura has been a hairdresser since 1980 and over the years has trained with top professionals from Redken, Scruples, Brocato, Wella, Aveda and more. She continues to look for the best products and latest looks for her clients. Hobbies include biking, hiking and travel. Specialties: Color, Make Up application Valerie Valerie is a licensed cosmetology instructor and hair stylist who is experienced in all phases of cosmetology. She continues to enjoy her career and takes new classes so she can share what she has learned with her clients and coworkers. Hobbies include outdoor gardening and landscaping. Lisa Liban Stylist/Colorist Lisa is the latest addition at Lynn & Co. She has over 24 years of experience in the industry. She is married with 2 children. Her hobbies include singing, dancing, and playing tennis. Specialties: Working with thick, coarse hair, Coloring Amy- Stylist/Colorist Pure Image Amy has been in the salon business for 13 years and has been renting at Lynn & Co. for 8 years. Amy spends her spare time with her 11/2 year old daughter Mya. Specialties: Hair Color , Make Up Application Jody Stylist/Colorist Hair by Jody Jody is the newest member of Lynn & Company, renting since April 2011. She has been in the business for over 15 years. She enjoys all aspects of the business. Her hobbies include going to the gym and spending time with her two children, Desiree and Justin. Maureen Manager & Receptionist Maureen has been in the salon business for 33 years, 13 years at Lynn & Co. She is married with 2 sons, 1 is married and 1 is engaged and has 2 grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, riding with her husband on their motorcycle, ATVs, traveling, and gardening. Maureen is also an Independent Eco-Consultant for Green Irene, teaching clients to live a healthier, safer and more sustainable lifestyle.
