Mechanical Engineer

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Assist PM in production of Project Plan. 2. Carry out design verification of tender drawings and notify Regional Manager of design issues which will then be presented to the Project Manager to be resolved with main contractor. 3. Good experience in the field of take off and estimating. 4. Work location: Office 5. Carry out design; redesign activities under the guidance of the Regional 6. Manager on HVAC, Fire Fighting, Drainage and Water Supply Systems as may be required. 7. Produce required drawings as per approved project plan in liaison with the draftsmen. 8. Resolve coordination issues with the electrical project engineers, coordinator, other mechanical engineers and PM. 9. Liaise with suppliers for technical inputs and inquiries. 10. Generate BOQ of required materials for project duration. 11. Liaise with PM to plan material and manpower plans, Prepare material and manpower requests as per project execution. 12. Inspect materials arriving to site prior to internal inspection. 13. Prepare required Documentation for transmittal to the main contractor through the PM. 14. Liaise with the QHSE Department to enforce the Quality and HSE policies of the Company. 15. Carry out initial inspection of installed services before authorizing internal inspection process.

Skills
- Excellent computer skills (excel and other software) is essential. - Should be fluent in English, spoken and written. - Good report writing
