Held on Sunday 25th March 2007 at the Leaf Lab Mech Eng Undercroft

Agenda:
To begin getting a relative design together to program the robot and testing what
maneuvers work better than the others.
What we did:
• Wheels- Begin to attach the wheels to test the program being written
- Designed the wheels so that the distance between the body of the
robot and its wheels are less to avoid bumping unnecessarily.
- Discussed and attached different wheels onto the design to get a better
visual to see what works better than others and why.
• Had trouble getting the connection between the program in the computer and
getting it through to the robot
• Program- trying to create a program that will seek and detect an object and
exert force pushing it away (forward)
- Updated firmware
- After much deliberation, the program worked. There was the lack of a
big book to test the program but it managed to push a big block of Lego
- Sensor fails to detect the block after repetitive trials in running the
program
- Was debugging and rewriting
• Upon discussion from previous meeting, Mike had created a ramp design
prior, which he brought. This was remade by the use of our legos.
• Our battery died. Therefore, for the time being, switched Mikes robots
batteries with ours.
